International Collaboration for Community Health Nursing Research (ICCHNR)

The next conference will be held in London in April 2025, with partners The Queen’s Nursing Institute & City, University of London. See the Call for Abstracts for details on the theme, The Race to Address Health Inequalities: Community Nursing in the Lead.

ICCHNR has been organizing excellent conferences and events for many years. I have attended conferences in Edmonton (1993 & 2011), Edinburgh (1997), and Tokyo (2005), and appreciate the work of the organization to advance research in community health nursing globally.

International Nurses Day 2024

From ICN: “This year, the International Nurses Day theme, chosen by ICN, reflects the aim to reshape perceptions, demonstrating how strategic investment in nursing can bring considerable economic and societal benefits.” A comprehensive report on this theme was released in May, with ICN’s call “to reimagine the value of nursing” in our world.
